    Rules of conduct
    when renting a kayak
     Nimbus Öckerö

    To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our customers, we ask you to carefully read and follow these rules when renting a kayak through us.

    1. Safety and liability
    • All paddlers must be able to swim at least 200 meters.
    • Life jackets must be worn at all times during the paddle.
    • Paddling is at your own risk. We are not responsible for any accidents or injuries.
    • If the weather conditions deteriorate (e.g. strong winds or thunderstorms), the paddling should be stopped and a safe place sought.
    1. Handling of the kayak
    • The kayak must be handled carefully and returned in the same condition as when collected.
    • Any damage or loss of equipment must be reported immediately. The customer may be liable for damages in case of negligence.
    • Landings may only take place in designated areas to protect nature and wildlife.
    1. Time and return
    • The kayak must be returned at the agreed time. Late return may incur an additional fee.
    • Make sure that all equipment (paddle, lifejacket, canopy, etc.) is included in the return.
    1. Nature and environment
    • Leave no trace! Rubbish should be taken back and disposed of in the designated place.
    • Respect wildlife and other paddlers on the water.
    • Paddling is prohibited in protected areas where access is restricted.

    By renting a kayak through us, you agree to these rules of conduct.
