ACTIVITY CENTER

In December 2025, the decision regarding our support was made, which we are very pleased about!

An activity center, mini golf, kayak and bicycle rentals

The center will serve as a vibrant meeting place that promotes health, community, and local development. The ambition is to create new opportunities for both locals and visitors to get involved, move more, and become more active.

The project includes:

An activity center (21 square meters) – which will serve as a base and meeting place for activities

A 12-hole mini golf course – creating a natural meeting place for families and generations

Kayak rental – making Bohuslän's unique archipelago more accessible

Bicycle rental – encouraging sustainable travel and the joy of discovery on the island

The collaborating parties are local businesses, associations, and the municipality, which gives the project strong local roots and long-term sustainability. Collaboration creates added value that strengthens both the business community and associations.

The initiative has been made possible by support from the EU via Leader Bohuslän, within the framework of the rural development program, which aims to strengthen viable coastal and rural areas through local development and entrepreneurship.

We see this as an investment in Öckerö's future – where the sea, nature, and people come together in an active and inclusive environment.

We have 10 adult bikes and 2 children's bikes for rent. Will be helmets for lending.

The Heel Island Loop

Hälsöslingan: Drive a car, take a bus or cycle to Burö ferry on Hälsö. Then you go up the slope on the right side and follow the loop around.

Welcome to play in our playground. Playground completed in spring 2023.

Bring a friend and come and play and buy coffee in our café.
